Julie Béna offers herself, funny and wholehearted, in a breathtaking performance narrating the biography of a character she does more than embody. Her rhythm, sincerity, self-mockery, enthusiasm and mastery make for an irresistible performance. This artist, whose objects I had previously only seen, combines the stoic elegance that characterizes her installations with a lively, spectacular complementarity. Bravo!
